The theme of our yearbook was “Super Heroes of Ladysmith.” Students were excited and it was well received. We included the MovieBook with videos of general info, a school dance, and Grad. When students realized that they could change a video to something they liked they were really excited!
For production, they put a cam on a RC car and ran it all through the halls to create video, as well as running a quadcopter with a cam through the campus! They staged scenes and gave students directions to run, scream and point as they copter filmed. They used some of the footage in the endsheets; where students didn’t run fast enough or didn’t follow direction they got zapped in the book!
